Breast Cancer Biology and Tumor Microenvironment

Understanding the biological mechanisms driving breast cancer is fundamental to developing innovative therapies. This track focuses on tumor initiation, progression, cancer stem cells, molecular signaling pathways, epigenetic regulation, and interactions between tumor cells and their microenvironment. Discussions will examine immune cell infiltration, angiogenesis, stromal interactions, extracellular matrix remodeling, and mechanisms of therapeutic resistance. Emerging technologies such as single-cell sequencing, spatial transcriptomics, and multi-omics approaches are providing unprecedented insights into tumor biology. Participants will explore how these discoveries contribute to identifying novel therapeutic targets and advancing personalized treatment strategies for improved patient outcomes.
